Just had an amazing idea? Sharpie that shit. Housemate keeps eating your leftovers? Sharpie that shit. Someone wrote a controversial statement on the back of the nightclub toilet stall? Sharpie that shit. Argue with that toilet wall. Sharpie That Shit is a campaign based on the fleeting nature of creativity and the human thought. It’s that idea you don’t want to forget, a conversation you don’t want to be left unsaid. We believe an idea is nothing until you write it down and bring it in to reality and these 3 little words aim to inspire people to bring their ideas to life.

Posters further aim to bring the campaign to the real world. The posters are designed to be obscure and confusing so as to make the viewer look twice. Everybody knows whar a Sharpie is, so the posters look to sell the ideas a Sharpie can create instead of the Sharpie itself.

FACEBOOK

Sharpie That Shit starts with a Facebook group. Groups are growing more and more popular within our audience as a way of interacting with like-minded people sharing ideas and memes. The group is designed to build a community around Sharpie where people post funny notes, wacky ideas, beautiful drawings - all of which can become user generated social media content and advertisements.

INSTAGRAM

Instagram content is designed to broadcast all the creative uses the community has found for the Sharpie. This encourages people to engage with the community in hopes to have their content posted on the official page. This type of content is also designed to break up the constant stream of dog photos and food photos on the typical Instagram feed, grabbing the attention of the audience.
